Feed Raw?
Every dog from the tiny Chihuahua to the Irish Wolf Hound is descended
from and, genetically almost identical to, the wolf. Wolves hunt and eat
prey animals including their fur, muscle, bones, organs and stomach contents.
If the hunt isn't successful,
our adaptable omnivores would scavenge for fruits, carrion or human left overs.
We at Northstar Natural Dog believe your dog's natural food choices would mimic
those of the wolf and have based our dog food on that model. Like us, the healthiest
way for our canines to obtain nutrition is by consuming a variety of fresh,
natural foods. Each individual meal need not contain every vitamin, fat and
protein. Balance comes over time and variety provides the components necessary
for optimum nutrition and function. |
